Weekend Wear

I did some Christmas shopping yesterday. And maybe a little bit for myself. I went to an outdoor outlet mall and it was CRAZY. I got some good deals but will probably never go shopping this close to the holidays again. Good thing I got most of Christmas shopping out of the way early.

I bought this sweater from TJ Maxx for $15! It’s the perfect top for these unseasonably warm December days. Although, if it doesn’t start to get colder soon, it just won’t feel like Christmas. I’m ready for some snow! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

Yesterday was one of my favorite Saturdays in a while. I had no plans whatsoever, which meant sleeping in and taking it easy. I watched a little bit of college football, went to a local brewery to pick up some gingerbread beer and put up my Christmas tree! I am definitely in the holiday spirit and can’t wait to go home next week to spend some time with my family. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Fall Afternoons

I love Fall afternoons. Especially when they’re sunny but crisp, Saturday Fall afternoons. The kind that require a sweater and boots even though the sun is shining and your only plans are to walk to brunch and watch football. I wish those afternoons could last forever.

Oktoberfest

This weekend was lovely. It kicked off with Oktoberfest, which meant good beer, good food and good company. It’s been warmer during the day and cooler at night and this dress was the perfect transitional outfit. The best part of the night? Sleeping in my own bed. Even though the weekend was action-packed, we didn’t travel which gave me an opportunity to catch up on sleep. In short, my weekend was filled with extra sleep and the arrival of Fall. I don’t think there’s much that could make me happier.

Wine Weekend

Saturday was spent in Charlottesville, touring some wineries with friends. We rented a cabin for the evening and had a nice little break from reality. Good wine, good food, good friends. What more can you ask for in life? Well, besides good clothes, of course. Speaking of good clothes, I am completely obsessed with this dress. I wish I had bought it in multiple colors before I stopped shopping. I am currently lusting over the mint color.
