While we were out West, we took a day to drive out to Forks and La Push. It was the longest day but definitely one of my favorites. The views were simply breathtaking. We stopped for lunch in Port Angeles, took a small hike to Second Beach and even got to see some sea lions! And just in case anyone is wondering, I’m Team Edward.

I spent Saturday walking around Richmond with my family and grabbing lunch at an outdoor cafe. We got some great weather in this weekend before all the rain hit and I took that opportunity to wear my new neon shoes. Good thing, too, because the weather forecast is predicting rain boots in my future!

I had a snow day yesterday and it was great. I have to admit, I’m sort of like a little kid when it comes to snow. I check the weather report incessantly and keep my fingers crossed that I will get buried inside all day with no hope of going anywhere. It’s been a pretty mild winter for us so I was ecstatic to wake up to white flakes falling from the sky. My excitement was short lived, though. All the snow has turned to mush and there’s not a cloud in the sky today.

Well, Forever 21 to the rescue again. I saw a navy blue sweater at J. Crew Factory with a white anchor on it that I just had to have. I, of course, waited too long and it sold out. I found this one shortly after and decided to buy it, ignoring the fact that the only size left was slightly too big for me. Better too big than too small, right?

It was a chilly weekend. After being out in the cold on Sunday, I came home to find that my heater was broken. Thanks to John the maintenance man (who drove an hour out of his way on Sunday night) both my heat and faith in mankind have been restored. And I no longer have to wear three layers of clothing inside my own place.
