These pants. They feel (and possibly look) like pajamas and I love it. They are so comfortable for running around town on a Sunday afternoon, which is exactly when I wore them. We were very domestic this weekend; pricing out appliances for the new house and getting a membership to costco. Is this what it feels like to be almost 30? Weekends are now packed with buying bulk and comparing the prices of refrigerators. We did manage to go to a winery on Friday night with some friends and watch the USA Portugal game at a big viewing party so I guess we snuck in some “younger” activities too.
This was supposed to be my Easter Dress but it was way too cold on Easter Sunday so I wore it on Monday. I love it. I can’t wait until it’s warm enough to wear without the jean jacket. It will definitely be on repeat this Summer!
I have not been a very good blogger lately, or throughout the Winter really. In December, I got approval to work from home full time. This was an absolute blessing. Prior to that, I had been driving over an hour each way to work, three days a week, for about a year. It wasn’t always that way, but when my boyfriend got a good job in Richmond–a place we both wanted to live–I made a sacrifice. Working from has been great for me in so many ways (more sleep, less stress, etc.), but it’s also helped me slack on blogging. When you don’t have to leave the house to work, there is no sense in getting dressed in anything other than leggings and a sweatshirt. It’s dark outside when my photographer (aka boyfriend) gets home from work and our weekends have been so busy that it’s just been difficult. In the coming weeks, I will be making an effort to post more.
We had some nice weather this weekend (for about 24 hours). Saturday was spent doing some painting around the house but Sunday was a lovely day which included brunch with my family. I took the opportunity to wear bright Spring colors and open-toed shoes before the cold weather returns this week. When I said these were my favorite pants, I meant it. I just bought them in the polka-dot print and I am sure you will be seeing them sometime in the near future.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
