A little Sparkle

Yesterday was my last day in the office until after the new year so I thought I’d wear something a festive.  This skirt is perfect for the office around the holidays–just a little sparkle, but nothing too over the top.  Now, it’s time for vacation.  Can’t wait to spend time with my family and sleep in every day!  Happy holidays, everyone!

Holiday Party

I wore this dress to my company’s holiday party on Saturday night.  It’s one of the pieces I picked up on my latest trip to Anthro.  My sister and I both tried it on and both ended up loving it.  Too bad we don’t wear the same size like we used to while growing up!  She could have worn it to her holiday party on Friday night, just in time to trade it off to me for Saturday.  Being an adult is so hard.

Anthro, How I’ve Missed You

The title of this post pretty much says it all.  While I was on my six-month shopping hiatus, I really really really missed Anthropologie.  I went there the other night with my sister and scooped up a couple of goodies, including this Karen Walker dress.  It’s been unseasonably warm the past few days so I jumped at the opportunity to wear it.  All I can say is, it feels good to be wearing a new dress!

It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas

Yesterday was one of my favorite Saturdays in a while.  I had no plans whatsoever, which meant sleeping in and taking it easy.  I watched a little bit of college football, went to a local brewery to pick up some gingerbread beer and put up my Christmas tree!  I am definitely in the holiday spirit and can’t wait to go home next week to spend some time with my family.  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Think Pink

I had such a relaxing weekend hanging out with my sister.  I got a lot of my Christmas shopping done (and wrapped!) so I am feeling pretty accomplished.  Turns out shopping for other people helps when you are on a six month shopping hiatus.  Perhaps I don’t really like clothes that much; I just like to buy things.  No, I’m pretty sure it’s mostly clothes that I like.  Speaking of, I have one month and one week left until I can shop!
