Sunday Brunch

This is what I wore to Sunday brunch.  This shirt is one of my “go-to” tops.  It’s oversized and comfy (my two favorite things in the world) but the lace detailing gives it just enough umph to not look sloppy.  I actually liked it so much that I went back to Free People and bought it in two more colors.  I do that a lot.  It’s a habit I am trying to break.  Do you think there’s a support group for that sort of thing?

Polka Dots and Good Tunes

Last night I went to see Miike Snow in concert with some of my friends.  The show was amazing but the weather was not.  It was cold and rainy so I opted for pants, boots and this cute new polka dot top from TJ Maxx.  The outfit was great for walking around outside but the second I was inside, surrounded by 1500 other fans, I immediately regretted it.  Needless to say, I left the show looking like a sweaty mess–but not before a girl in the bathroom could tell me that I looked like Madonna.  Definitely a first.  Oh, also, I have no idea why my hair looks white in these photos.  I can assure you that it is not.

A Walk Downtown

I spent the afternoon walking around downtown Fredericksburg, which provided the perfect backdrop for today’s photos.  I am now off to continue this great day at the Miike Snow concert in DC.  Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Happy Friday

It’s Friday and I am even happier than I was on Thursday.  I got my hair done and am feeling extra blonde, and let me tell ya, I think blondes really do have more fun.  The best part is, the weekend has only just begun!  I hope everyone has a happy happy Friday!
